An office cricket tournament is easier to organise when the team kit is treated as one clear project. Before choosing colours or adding a logo, the organiser needs to know the match format, number of players, required garments, size range, artwork and ordering deadline. These details determine what must be confirmed before a custom cricket jersey order can move forward.
This guide explains how a company sports committee, HR team or team captain can prepare a complete requirement. It is written for cricket, but the same disciplined process can later support other company sports without turning every team into an identical kit.
Start with the Cricket Format and Kit Requirement
Begin by recording where and how the team will play. A one-day company event, a weekend league and a season-long tournament can have different kit requirements. Confirm whether the organiser requires coloured playing jerseys, cricket whites, trousers, training layers or a combination.
For coloured competitions, the custom jersey is usually the centre of the visual identity. For a whites competition, confirm the permitted shirt, polo, trouser and trim colours before approving the kit. The tournament rules should guide this decision.
Create one list containing:
- The cricket format and event dates;
- The required jersey or complete kit;
- The expected player quantity;
- Whether reserve-player garments are needed;
- The company colours and approved logo files;
- Required player names and numbers;
- The size needed by each player.
This gives the supplier a usable brief and reduces changes later in the process.
Build One Recognisable Company Identity
A corporate cricket jersey should clearly belong to the company and remain easy to read. Start with the approved brand colours, then decide where the company logo, team name, player number and player name will appear.
Avoid trying to place every available brand element on the jersey. A clear hierarchy normally works better: primary company identity, team identity and player identification. Logos need sufficient space around them, while player numbers should remain legible at the size used in the final design.
Submit vector artwork where available. Files such as AI, EPS, SVG or a production-ready PDF normally preserve logo edges better than a small image copied from a website. If only a raster file is available, provide the largest approved version and confirm that its appearance is acceptable before production.
Confirm the Jersey Specification
The exact product specification should be reviewed before artwork is approved. Compare the available jersey style, fabric name, GSM, collar, sleeves, panels, seams and garment measurements. A product name alone does not provide enough information for a team decision.
IRA product information should identify the approved fabric and GSM for the selected jersey. When more than one construction is available, compare the details side by side. Select the option that matches the team’s tournament rules, preferred appearance and approved budget.
The final order record should contain the selected product or custom specification rather than a general note such as “company cricket jersey.” This makes the approved requirement clear to the organiser and production team.
Collect Individual Player Sizes
Do not submit one estimated size mix for the full team unless every player has confirmed it. Share the size guide and ask each player to compare their measurements with the chart for the exact garment.
Prepare a player list with separate columns for name, display name, number, jersey size and trouser size where applicable. Check spelling and number duplication before submitting it. Names and numbers become part of the approved artwork and order information, so the final list should have one responsible reviewer.
For a mixed office team, allow enough time for every participant to respond. Corporate groups often include a wider range of sizes than a regular club squad, and collecting the information early prevents last-minute substitutions based on guesswork.
Separate Individual Purchases from the Team Order
IRA Sportswear India supports individual shopping and organised team requirements through different routes. A player buying an available ready-made item can use the online product page and checkout. A corporate team requiring coordinated artwork, quantities and player details should submit the complete requirement through the team-order or bulk-enquiry form.
For the team route, include:
- Organisation and contact details;
- Selected sport and garment type;
- Required quantity;
- Required delivery location;
- Event date;
- Logo and artwork files;
- Colour references;
- The completed player list.
IRA can then review the requirement and confirm the available specification, quote and timing. Treat the confirmed quote and order approval as the reference for the project.
Review Every Detail Before Approval
Nominate one person to approve the design and order information on behalf of the team. Multiple uncoordinated approvals can create conflicting instructions.
The final review should check:
- Company and team names;
- Logo version and placement;
- Jersey colours;
- Player-name spelling;
- Player-number accuracy;
- Garment and size for every player;
- Total quantity;
- Quote;
- Confirmed timing and delivery details.
Keep the approved version with the final player list. If the team changes a name, number, size or quantity, send the revision as an updated document and clearly identify what changed.
Create a Reorder Record
After the event, retain the approved design reference, product specification and player list. This makes it easier to request an additional garment or prepare for the next company tournament. A reorder is still subject to current product, material, size and service availability, so provide the earlier reference when asking IRA to review it.
